Since 2021
The Asho Chin Mountains where Larr Zort coffee is grown
Introducing

Highland Arabica from Myanmar’s Asho Chin Mountain.

Grown at 3,500 to 5,000 feet, roasted to order, and supplied to cafés, hotels, and private-label partners since 2021.

Origin

Top tier, in the Asho Chin language.

Grown in the Asho Chin Mountains, Magway Region, between 3,500 and 5,000 feet above sea level. Harvested on our farm and bought from neighbouring growers across the same range — one region, one standard.

Processing

Three ways to process.

  1. A farmer tending cherries drying on a tarp in the sun
    01

    Natural Dry

Cherries dried under the sun with the fruit still intact, letting the beans absorb natural sugars.

    Notes
    Fruity, some floral.
    Best for
    Americano, pour-over, specialty cafés.
  2. Hands holding washed parchment coffee beans
    02

    Fully Washed

Cherry fully washed before drying, removing all fruit layers so the bean’s natural character stands out.

    Notes
    Floral, nutty.
    Best for
    Office coffee, cafés, hotel service.
  3. Hands holding honey-coloured coffee beans on a drying bed
    03

    Honey Process

Some fruit layer left on the bean during drying — combining elements of both natural and washed.

    Notes
    Chocolate, nutty.
    Best for
    Latte, cappuccino, milk-based drinks.
